The Protocol of Business Seating
This month is the one-year anniversary of The Etiquette Advantage (TEA) e-newsletter! Since it is also back to school time, this month we will have a test of everything you have learned in articles during the year.

1. You (a male) and your assistant (a female) approach the front door of the building where your business meeting will take place; there is no doorman. Who opens the door for whom?

a.  You open the door for her because you are a chivalrous gentleman and she is a woman.
b.  She opens the door for you because you are her boss.
c.  The person who reaches the door first opens it for the other.

2. You and your company’s president are conversing at a cocktail party when a client comes up and speaks to you. You should greet your client warmly, then:
